GROUP SALES FAQ’s
What is considered a group and are children included?
A group is 10 or more tickets for the same performance. Children’s tickets can be included in the total. Children must be at least 4 years old to attend a full length performance.
What are the group rate ticket prices?
Group rates are up to 25% off all regular ticket prices. Individual group ticket prices are dependent on which seating area is chosen. Additional discounts not applicable.
Can I make a reservation?
Please contact the California Ballet Ticketing Office at 858-560-6741 to select your show and performance date. Once details have been confirmed, we will send you an invoice specifying payment schedule.
Do you require a deposit to reserve seats?
A 50% Deposit is required at the time you place your order or you can pay in full up front. The remaining balance is due 4 weeks prior to the performance.
Do you offer flexible payment plans?
Flexible payment plans are offered on an individual basis. Contact the California Ballet Ticketing Office (858) 560-6741 to arrange your plan.
Are groups charged service fees?
Service and handling fees are waived if payment is made by cash or check. A $2 service fee per ticket will be applied if paying by credit card.
How do I recieve my tickets?
Tickets can be mailed, picked up at the California Ballet Ticketing Office at 4819 Ronson Ct. 92108, or held at Will Call at the Theatre.
Can I change the number of seats in my group reservation?
Additional seats can be added up to 2 weeks before the performance date. We will do our best to seat additional patrons in the same area, however we cannot guarantee that the seats will be in the same location.
Can my group be seated in the same section of the theater?
Yes. Once your deposit has been made and show dates have been confirmed. We will reserve a section in the theatre for your group.
Do you offer backstage tours or opportunities to meet dancers?
For groups of 10 or more, backstage tours are offered for select performances. Reservations must be made 2 weeks in advance.
What are your exchange/return policies for Group Tickets?
All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.

Do the theatres provide accommodations for patrons with physical challenges?
Both the Balboa Theatre and Civic Theatre have Accessible Seating, restrooms and parking access. Please call the California Ballet Ticketing Office in advance to ensure your seats are ADA approved.
What are the office hours and location of the California Ballet Ticketing Office?
The Ticketing Office is located at 4819 Ronson Ct., San Diego, 92108. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 12 pm-6:30 pm open on select weekends. Due to the summer season, please call ahead before visiting in person. For more information, contact us.
