When I'm not working I enjoy... Reading, running, eating great food.

I love San Diego because... It's a collection of diverse neighborhoods. You can drive for 20 minutes and feel like you're in a different city.

What ballet or role would you like to dance (and why), but haven't yet? I would love to perform as Lady Capulet in Romeo & Juliet. The acting for that role is so powerful.

If I weren't a dancer, I'd be: A teacher.

What is your favorite costume and why? Anything with a gigantic skirt or cape. I love a dramatic costume.

What can always make you laugh? My sister. She is hilarious.

Describe your perfect day: Walking around somewhere beautiful in between amazing meals.

What has been your most memorable moment as a dancer? Performing in Paul Koverman's Elegy as a child. It was an incredibly emotional experience, and it is what made me decide to dedicate my life to dancing.

What is the hardest part about being a dancer? Staying in shape when we're off season.

Fun to know: Amanda and her boyfriend are avid social dancers and can be spotted out enjoying salsa, hustle, swing, and more.
