Ms. Correia is a graduate of the California Ballet School, receiving additional training at Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet, Summer Dance Lab in Washington (under the directorship of Charles Bennett), and Kaatsbaan Extreme Ballet where she was coached by founders Martine van Hamel and Kevin Mackenzie.

In 2006, Ms. Correia became a member of the California Ballet Company’s corps de ballet. For the 2007-2008 season she trained with the Boston Ballet, primarily from Mikko Nissinen, Margaret Tracey, Bonnie Mathis, and Kathleen Mitchell. She had the opportunity to perform with the Boston Ballet Ensemble in works by Foresythe, Ashton, Balanchine, and Bournonville, and performed alongside the Boston Ballet Company in Defile and The Nutcracker.

In 2008 Ms. Correia rejoined California Ballet Company and was promoted in soloist in 2010. Her featured roles include Alice (Alice in Wonderland), a soloist in Deux Nocturnes and Souvenir, Dewdrop and Snow Queen (Nutcracker), Black Swan Solo (Swan Lake), and Florina (Sleeping Beauty). Ms. Correia is currently a Business Administration major at the University of San Diego and is a certified GYROTONIC® instructor.
