Chiyumi Kawamura has trained in Japan with Matsuyana Ballet School and in Australia with National Theatre Ballet School and Academy of Dance. Ms. Kawamura joined the California Ballet Company as a Professional Apprentice in 2007 and was promoted to Corps in 2008. Since joining the company, she has been featured in the roles of Friend in Coppellia, Wili in Giselle and Merlitons in The Nutcracker. Other productions include Pas de Duke, Souvenir, Cinderella and Charles Bennett’s Dracula.
