Oscar Burciaga - Skinny Stepsister

Mr. Burciaga originally received his training with Ballet Folklorico Universidad de Colima, and also holds a BFA degree in Modern Dance and Mexican Folklore from the Universidad de Colima in Mexico. He has performed as a stage actor in the role of Monsieur Loyal in Moliere's Tartuffe, and appeared onstage with the San Diego Opera. Mr. Burciaga joined California Ballet Company in 2002 and was promoted to soloist in 2006. Mr. Buriaga is also the production manager for CBC.

Miki Batchman - Stepmother

Ms. Batchman began her training with the Hammond Studio of Dance, and continued her training with City Ballet before attending the University of California, Irvine as a Dance Major with a minor in Digital Arts. She joined the California Ballet Company in 2000, and has appeared regularly in major character roles, including the Cook in Alice in Wonderland, Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty and the Stepmother in CBC's original production of Cinderella.

Joseph Shumate - Dumpy Stepsister

Mr. Shumate is a graduate of the California Ballet School. He originally danced with the company from 1994 to 1997 before pursuing a career in theater. In 2002, Mr. Shumate received his B.A. in Dance and Drama from the University of California, Irvine. He has performed in professional theater nationally and internationally since 1999, appearing in musical theater productions from New Orleans to Edinburgh. Mr. Shumate rejoined the company in 2009. He is currently the CBC Social Media Coordinator and Executive Assistant and teaches Musical Theater for the school.
